Himachal Pradesh Cabinet presided over by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur gave its approval to engage 3970 para workers ( 1146 Para Pump Operators, 480 Para Fitters and 2344 Multi Purpose Workers) in Jal shakti department on honorarium basis .
It gave its consent to fill up 389 posts of panchayat secretaries, create 124 posts of technical assistants and fill up 40 posts, fill up 124 posts of gram rojgar sewak, 73 posts of police personnel in Excise and Taxation department to check drug menace, ensure jobs to agniveers in different departments and give four percent reservation in promotion of cadre strength posts for persons with disabilities.
The Cabinet also decided to bring recruitments and exams conducted by HPSSC Hamirpur under ambit of HP Prevention of Malpractices Act 1984 for fair selection of candidates.
The Cabinet also gave its approval to upgrade high schools Snarsa ,Grangar, Loharli , Kinnu, Bhalon to senior secondary schools , middle schools Manglera , Jutrahan, Babehar, Lower Andou ,Ladar, Nari to high schools and upgrade primary schools Channa, Dehrinal , Tiuri , Tihra, Kakrana, Chowki to middles schools .
The Cabinet approved to start commerce classes in senior secondary school Thachi, science classes in secondary schools Pressi, Chah Ka Dohra, Tikari Newal, Kaloh, Jahar, Gagal Shikopre and Bihani and start science classes in government college Baldwara.
It gave its approval to enhance scholarship rates of various scholarship schemes and open primary school at Gahar.
The Cabinet gave its approval to create two posts of Technical Assistant (Radiation Safety, fill four posts of radiographer in Tanda Medical College, open PHC at Nariwala , upgrade PHC Rampur, Dhaneta, Lapyana, Kamrau, and Kundian to CHC, upgrade health sub center Panjehra, Sural , Cheuni to PHCs , open PHC at Doli , Kohal , Dehgran, Sugh Bhatoli , Lambloo, Kharoth, Deema Chahri and upgrade CHC Nalagarh to 100 bedded hospital,and upgrade CHC Daulaltpur Chowk to 50 bedded hospital.
It also gave its consent to open Health Sub Centers at Roharidhar, Deem and Dugga , Hatwas , Baithwan, Palhuin, Kakain , Kaila , Badran , Kotla Chiliyan, Labana –Dera , Tappar , Chiterkoot and Nadal and open Ayurvedic centers at Kishanpura, Mundi, Barighat, Bina and Sarach to PHC.
