Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has congratulated two Padam Shri award winners from the state Vidyanand Saraik, Lalita Vakil and winners of the Police Medals.
He said, “While Lalita Vakil, hailing from Chamba has been working for the promotion of Chamba Rumal for the past 50 years this award is recognition for her work and Vidyanand Saraik is a multifaceted personality who has been striving to conserve and revive hilly culture for over five decades.”
The CM has also congratulated IG Southern Range Himanshu Mishra on getting President Police Medal and Ranjana Chauhan SP, Vijay Kumar Sharma ASP, Inspector Laxman Thakur and SI Jagdish Chand for getting Police Medals for their services.
