A recorded message sent from an international number on mobiles of a few journalists from from so called Separatists’ Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) organization addressing the people and CM Thakur of Himachal Pradesh has claimed inclusion of Himachal in the new map of so called “Khalistan.”
A recorded voice message received on my number on Tuesday afternoon at 2.13 pm went on to convey, “This is for the people and CM Thakur of Himachal, a new map of (so called) Khalistan has been released which includes Himachal in it, Shimla was capital of Punjab and would be capital of Punjab once liberated.”
“We do not want violence, we do not want bullets and if people of the state want to remain with Sikhs they are welcome but if they do not want to be part of it they should leave to other parts of the country”, it adds.
In the message the caller claiming to be Gurpatwant Singh Pannu from the General Council of SFJ goes on to add, “Modi (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) is coming to UK and we are holding a referendum on October 31, ask Modi if he can stop us.”
A map of “Khalistan” re-tweeted by Sikh Press Association includes Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, parts of UP and Uttrakhand.”
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said, “I will look into this matter.”
When this matter was reported to Narvir Rathour Additional Superintendent of Police Cyber Crime Cell he said, “We are already investigating the matter since such recorded messages were received earlier too and we are seeking help of the Interpol for tracing the sender.”
