The death toll in the Kinnaur landslide incident has reached ten as a total of ten dead bodies buried along with vehicles were recovered by the rescue teams a few hours back.
As per information given by State Disaster Management Authority, “ Ten bodies have been recovered from the incident site so far, eight passengers trapped in a Tata Suma Jeep were found dead, one body of a passenger traveling in HRTC bus has been recovered, while body a truck driver hit by a shooting stone has also been recovered. “
The deceased have been identified as Rohit (22) from Rampur, Vijay Kumar (32) from Sujanpur, Meera Devi from Kinnaur, Nitisha from Nichar, Prem Kumari (42) from Kinnaur, Kamlesh Kumar (34) from district Solan, Vanshuka (02) and Gyan Dasi from Sapni – Kinnaur and Devi Chand (53) from Nichar. One body is still unidentified.
