Today was 99 anniversary of the Jaliayan Wala massacre. More than 1000 innocent people participating in a meeting organized by the freedom fighters demanding freedom from the British rule were brutally massacreed by the British army on the orders of General Dyre. Thousands of innocent were fired on a narrow escape route to cause maximum casualties by the cruel British rulers.
Though it was most horrific incident resulting into killing of largest ever civilian killing of freedom fighters but present government has not paying due homage to our martyrs.
When our PM , ministers and other leaders are celebrating this day for different political reasons but people laying lives for the cause of our freedom have found little mention by them.
The sacrifice of our freedom fighters should get appropriate regard from our government and political parties rising above political consideration .
